Cyrus Rassool has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cyrus started their career as an Editorial Coordinator at George Mason University in 2010. Cyrus then moved on to internships at the Middle East Institute and The Henry L. Stimson Center in 2011, gaining valuable research and policy experience. In 2012, Rassool joined Freedom House as an Associate in Regional and Global Programs, later transitioning to a Senior Associate role in the Democracy and Technology Program. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Glen Echo Group, LLC, initially as a Senior Associate in Tech and Policy Communications and eventually becoming the Director of Tech and Policy Communications. Currently, Rassool holds the position of Associate Director of Strategic and Policy Communications at Consumer Reports, where they focus on the Tech and Telecom industry.
Cyrus Rassool began their education in 2005 at Old Dominion University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. Cyrus studied there for four years, completing their undergraduate studies in 2009. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, Rassool furthered their education at George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government. Cyrus obtained a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree, focusing on the field of Public Policy.
