Emily Sales Vieira

Emily Sales Vieira is the Advocacy Coordinator at Conta Azul. Emily previously worked as a Tax and Corporate Legal Controlling Assistant at WEG from January 2015 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for activities related to WEG companies overseas, with a focus on corporate law. Emily also prepared and analyzed corporate contracts and articles of incorporation, assisted in the implementation of corporate governance, and analyzed, prepared, and managed shareholder assembly and board of directors meeting minutes. Other responsibilities included preparing Power of Attorney documents and various declarations, proposals, and management reports. Additionally, they researched and prepared transfer pricing reports, analyzed business consultant, legal, and tax contracts, and assisted the International HR department with the preparation and analysis of employment contracts and other documents necessary for the appointment and termination of executive directors overseas. Prior to their work at WEG, Emily worked as an intern at Borges Eleutério Sociedade de Advogados from June 2014 to August 2014. Emily also interned at Tupy from February 2012 to December 2013, and at Procon Joinville from December 2010 to January 2012.

Emily Sales Vieira has a degree in Law from Faculdade CNEC Joinville - FCJ, a specialization in Civil and Business Law from Damásio Educacional, and a MBA in Executive Law from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
