Eric Coburn

Eric Coburn has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Eric most recently worked as a Lead Engineer/Agile Developer IP at Contechs, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Product Design Engineer at IAC Group from June 2021 to October 2022. Eric also served as a Lead Engineer at Tata Technologies and M-Tec Consulting Group, working on various projects for Jaguar Land Rover. Eric has also held roles as a Director at TEC-CON (Durham) Ltd., Project Manager at Alexander Battery Technologies, Product Manager at Royston Diesel Power, and Project Manager at Ricardo. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive experience in product design, engineering, and project management.

Eric Coburn attended Northumbria University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a B. Eng. degree in Thermodynamics, maths, control systems, mechanics, materials, fatigue analysis & corrosion, and civil law. Prior to that, they attended Darlington Polytechnical college from 1978 to 1980, earning an HNC in Electrical Engineering. Before that, from 1975 to 1978, they attended Bishop Auckland Polytechnical college and received an ONC in Electrical Engineering.
