Miriam Ruiz

School & Community Partnership Manager at Contemporary Art Museum

Miriam Ruiz is an experienced education manager with a strong background in community engagement and program development within the arts. Currently serving as Education Manager at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis since February 2017, Miriam has held multiple roles including School and Community Partnership Manager and School and Community Programs Manager. In addition to this role, Miriam is the Vice President of the Latinx Arts Network since January 2018. Prior experience includes positions at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as Youth and Outreach Programs Coordinator, Research Coordinator, and Teaching Assistant, along with various teaching roles in English and math. Miriam Ruiz holds a Master of Arts in Contemporary Art Theory and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Art in Art Education from McKendree University.
