Risha Agarwal Manga is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Koay Lab in the Department of Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, starting in October 2023. Additionally, Risha serves as a Shelby County Youth Council Representative, planning and hosting community town halls for youth engaging with elected officials, and is a Community Volunteer on the Mayor's COVID-19 Community Council, contributing to public service announcements. As Co-Founder and President of 901PLEDGE, a non-profit established in 2014, Risha focuses on youth engagement and resource enhancement. Risha also works as an Editorial Intern for Memphis Parent Magazine, collaborating on numerous articles. Previous experience includes volunteering with Asha's Refuge and interning as a Student Medical Intern at Baptist Health Care, shadowing healthcare professionals. Risha is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biosciences at Rice University, following an International Baccalaureate diploma from Lausanne Collegiate School and completion of the TN Governor's School for International Studies.
