Chris Laney

Chris started his career with CSC in Columbus Ohio in 2006. He joined the CSC Special Events division later that year and served as a Supervisor/Area Director. He was a part of the Special Events team, which was responsible for the security of clients such as PGA of America, PGA Tour, LPGA, NBA, MLB, The NRA, and Octagon Sports.

His management skills and work ethic lead him to be promoted to Event Manager at the CSC Houston branch in 2012. Chris has been the event manager for multiple events on NRG Park. His events include Disney on Ice, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, OTC Hospitality, NFL Football, Major NCAA Football, Festivals, Stadium Shows, Multiple Concerts, and Conventions.

In the fall of 2014, Chris was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager. Chris became the Event Manager for all large event shows to include the NFL Texans season, NCAA Final Four, Super Bowl LVI, LSSE Events, HLSR, OTC, COPA, and various Concerts and Stadium Shows. As being the Assistant Branch Manager, Chris was responsible for the day-to-day operations, creating and implanting trainings, and overseeing the management team.

Chris has over 15 years of institutional knowledge at various venues. In February of 2017, he was promoted to Branch Manager of San Bernardino and the Inland Empire. His experience covers all event categories from small conventions to top-tier music and sporting events. Chris is excited to lead the CSC team in San Bernardino in the management of great events that impact the Southern California Region. Major events the CSC San Bernardino team will provide services for will include –NASCAR and the Auto Club Speedway, Coachella and Stagecoach with Goldenvoice, National Orange Show events, Insomniac concert and festivals, Live Nation Events, and multiple colleges and universities around the Inland Empire to include, Azusa Pacific, Cal Poly Pomona, University of Redlands, Clermont and the University of California Riverside.

Chris is a Certified Manager in Motor Coach Evacuation Planning and Operational Support Training.
