Damian Thompson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Damian is currently serving as the VP of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships at Content at Scale since December 2022. Prior to this, Damian held the position of Chief Revenue Officer at REVteam + REVjobs since January 2015. In this role, they helped founders develop the ability to scale their businesses by building high-performing sales and revenue operations teams for B2B software and service companies.
Moreover, Damian also cofounded LeadFuze in July 2016, where they served as the Chief Sales Officer. LeadFuze focused on smarter, faster, and automated sales prospecting by aggregating professional data and providing verified contact information. Additionally, Damian was a member of RevGenius from August 2020 onwards and served as an Investment Scout at Makerpad starting in December 2020 until January 2023. Damian was also a member of Revenue Collective during the same period.
In terms of previous roles, Damian held the position of VP North America at Ground Labs from October 2014 to December 2015. Damian was responsible for building the US business from scratch, including go-to-market strategy, sales and marketing plans, and channel management. Before that, Damian founded Demand Genesis in January 2013 and served as the Founder and Chief Revenue Officer. Demand Genesis specialized in demand generation services without the need for clients to build large sales and marketing teams. Additionally, Damian founded Linchpin in July 2011, which initially focused on content marketing for startups before transitioning into demand generation services.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Damian worked as a Partner in Business Development at Fulton Francis from October 2009 to January 2011. Damian provided specialized consultancy services in BPO, managed services, and cost reduction, with a focus on the vertical markets of banking, finance, and legal.
Damian Thompson pursued an Executive MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2001 to 2002. Damian obtained additional certifications, including a Partner Certification from Pipedrive in November 2019, a Hubspot Agency Partner Certification from HubSpot in February 2021, and an Inbound Certification from HubSpot in September 2015. Damian also acquired a Hubspot Sales Services certification, but the specific month and year of attainment are unknown. Further, they hold a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification, but the month and year of obtaining it are unspecified.
