Sarah Spence

Sarah Spence has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sarah is currently the CEO of Content Copywriting, a rapidly growing content marketing agency in Australia. In this role, they lead a team of creative and strategic professionals, manages the company's financials, and initiates conversations with potential clients. Prior to this, Sarah founded and served as the Strategic Director of the agency.

Sarah's entrepreneurial spirit led their to start Wedding Umbrellas Australia, supplying affordable and stylish umbrellas for weddings. Sarah also worked as a Senior Content Editor at Mogrify and a Digital Manager at Buy My Things, where they played a crucial role in developing their online presence and digital marketing strategies.

In their earlier career, Sarah held positions at Citi, where they developed and delivered loyalty marketing strategies, managed campaigns, and oversaw website development. Sarah also worked as a Copywriter, responsible for creating and editing various bank communications.

Before joining Citi, Sarah worked as a Freelance Copywriter and Marketing Consultant for clients such as British Airways, Hilton International, and Royal Bank of Scotland. In addition, they served as the Sales & Marketing Manager at Radar Group and PR and Guest Relations Leader at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa.

Sarah's earlier experience includes working as a Shareholder Communications Consultant at Standard Life and an Account Manager at 3 Mobile. Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated their expertise in content creation, marketing strategy, project management, and team leadership.

Sarah Spence has a comprehensive education history that includes both a master's degree and a bachelor's degree. Sarah obtained their master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of New England (AU) between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, and Public Relations from the University of Technology Sydney from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their degrees, Sarah has obtained several certifications in the marketing field. Sarah holds the title of Certified Practising Marketer from the Australian Marketing Institute, which they achieved in February 2019. Sarah also completed the SEMrush for Digital Agencies Certification in May 2020. Sarah has been recognized for their outstanding work in content marketing, winning the Best Content Marketing Campaign of the Year 2022 - NSW award from the Australian Marketing Institute in October 2022. Sarah was also a finalist for the 2022 Awards and received a certificate of recognition for Content Marketing.
