Brian D. Flynn

Brian D. Flynn has over 12 years of professional experience. Brian D. began their career in 2007 as an Assistant Facilities Manager at the University of Michigan. In 2008, they moved into the film industry, where they worked as a Location Manager and Production Coordinator. In 2012, they became the Operations Manager at Aviary Inc, where they were responsible for planning and executing partner and community-facing company events, as well as managing the company's social media channels. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at General Assembly in various roles, including Associate Instructor for Front End Web Development and Javascript Development, Front End Web Developer and Digital Media Producer, and Web Developer for the Web Development Immersive program. In 2019, they became a Lead Instructor for Software Engineering and Product Management at General Assembly. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Contently as a Software Engineer.

Brian D. Flynn obtained their High School Diploma from East Grand Rapids High School in 2004. Brian D. then attended the University of Michigan, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Film/Cinema/Video Studies in 2009. In 2014, they began taking courses at General Assembly, completing a Certificate in Front End Web Development and a Certificate in Product Management. Brian D. also earned a Certificate in Web Development (JavaScript & Ruby) in 2016 and a Certificate in Ruby on Rails in 2016.
