Gregory Nozza has an extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Gregory began their career in 2006 as a Senior Field Instructor at Second Nature Wilderness Program, where they guided backcountry trips for "at-risk" youth in North Georgia. In 2009, they worked as an Emergency Department Technician at Athens Regional Medical Center, performing EKG's, applying and modifying fiberglass splints and other immobilizers, inserting catheters, treating and dressing wounds, performing CPR, and assisting MD's in various procedures. In 2010, they earned their Masters of Nursing and Certified Nurse Leader from Georgia Health Sciences University. Gregory then worked as a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department from 2012 to 2014 at University Health Care System, and as a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit from 2015 to 2019 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. Gregory currently works as a Recovery Care Coordinator at Contessa Health, managing a team of Coordinators and RN's to provide high-quality inpatient care in a patient's home, and facilitating inpatient care in the home for qualified patients.
Gregory Nozza completed their MSN-CNL degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University between 2010 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Psychology from The University of Georgia between 2003 and 2005. Gregory also attended Penn State University between 2000 and 2002, where they studied Information Technology and Business, but did not receive a degree.
