Jay M. began their career in 2004 as a Lifeguard and Birthday Party Host with the Rockford Park District. In 2007, they became a Student Ambassador at Loyola University Chicago. In 2009, they took on two positions, Co-Founder and Coordinator of Operations and Logistics at The Neighborhood First, as well as Special Assistant to Director of Housing at Edgewater Community Council. In 2010, they became After School Program Coordinator at Chicago Public Schools. In 2015, they began their residency as a Resident Physician at UPMC. In 2019, they became an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Finally, in 2018 they joined OSF HealthCare as a Physician Builder and Hospitalist Innovator, and in 2022 they will become Medical Director of Implementations at Contessa Health.
Jay M. obtained a MD and Global Scholar Graduate from St. George's University in June 2015, a MBA from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago in 2011, a BS and BA in Biology and International Studies, with a minor in biostatistics and business administration from Loyola University Chicago in 2011, and a Diploma of Higher Education in Medicine from Northumbria University. Jay M. has also obtained certifications such as a Physician Builder from Epic in October 2021, ABIM Certified from the American Board of Internal Medicine in August 2018, MD from St. George's University in June 2015, and Introduction to Biomedical Informatics, AMIA 10x10 Certificate of Completion from AMIA (American Medical Informatics Association).
