Lisa Kenner

Lisa Kenner is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in program development and community engagement. As the Director of Programs at ConTextos since January 2017, Lisa has been instrumental in launching and overseeing various initiatives aimed at supporting young people in the justice system and developing community partnerships. Previously, as the Founding Principal of Legacy Charter School from 2004 to 2016, Lisa established the school's vision and expanded its enrollment significantly. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Principal at Triumphant Charter School, Humanities Instructor, and College Goals Consultant at Saturday Scholars, Field Associate at Life Directions, Inc., and educator at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center. Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from National Louis University and a Bachelor's degree in Ethnomusicology from Northwestern University.
