Daniel Hirt

Daniel Hirt has a strong background in aviation and flight testing. Daniel started their career at Thielert Aircraft Engines GmbH in 2004 as a Design Engineer for Aircraft Engines. Daniel then worked at Thielert Aircaft Engine GmbH in 2005 as an Application and Test Engineer for Aircraft Engines. In 2006, they joined Thielert Aircraft Engines as a Flight Test Engineer and Experimental Test Pilot. Daniel continued in this role until 2013.

In 2009, Hirt moved to Thielert Aircraft Engines GmbH as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) in Flight Test. Daniel held this position until 2013 when they joined Technify Motors GmbH as Head of Flight Test. At Technify Motors, they also took on various roles such as Flight Test Engineer, Experimental Test Pilot, and Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) in Flight Test.

Daniel spent a significant amount of time at Technify Motors, holding the position of Head of Flight Test from 2015 to 2019. In July 2019, Hirt joined Continental Aerospace Technologies™ as the Head of Flight Test and also took on the roles of Experimental Test Pilot, Flight Test Engineer, and Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).

Daniel Hirt attended the University of Applied Science Zwickau from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a degree as a Diplom Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Design and Development.
