Dr. Gurunath Reddy has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. In 1988, they became the President of Digestive & Liver Disease Consultants, PA, and in 1989, they served as a Faculty Member at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2007, Dr. Reddy took on the role of Medical Director & Chairman of the Board at MEMORIAL HERMANN ENDOSCOPY & SURGERY CENTER NORTH HOUSTON, L.L.C. In 2012, they became the Chairman of CONTINENTAL INSTITUTE OF BIO MEDICAL RESEARCH APPLICATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. Dr. Reddy founded Continental Hospitals in 2013 and held the positions of Founder, Chairman & Managing Director. Additionally, they served as the Founder, Promoter & Director of the hospital from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, Dr. Reddy joined the Government of Andhra Pradesh as an Advisor - Healthcare in 2021.
Dr. Gurunath Reddy completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, from 1975 to 1980. Dr. Gurunath then pursued further specialization in Gastroenterology and Liver, completing a Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine from 1986 to 1988. In addition, they completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Internal Medicine Residency Program from Wayne State University School of Medicine, from 1983 to 1986. Lastly, they completed another Fellowship in Gastroenterology, Liver Diseases, and Nutrition also at Baylor College of Medicine from 1986 to 1988.
