Ryan Klein has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Ryan started their career as an Information Analyst at Hertz Equipment Rental in 2004. In 2005, they joined Chesapeake Energy Corporation as a Business Analyst/Coordinator, specializing in Division of Interest quality assurance and data conversions. In 2013, they worked as an Independent Consultant at LandVest Company, Inc, where they developed applications using SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and VB.NET. Later in 2013, they became a Sr. Business Systems Analyst at Chaparral Energy, LLC. Ryan joined Continental Resources in 2016 and held multiple roles, including Sr. IT Data Engineer, Sr. IT Data Scientist, IT Advisor (Data Science), and currently serving as a Principal IT Data Scientist.

Ryan is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, starting in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business in 2021 and the Data Scientist with R certification from DataCamp in 2020.
