Kate Berris

Kate Berris has a diverse work experience in the sales and events industry. Kate is currently working at Forte Belanger as the Director of Sales, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Account Manager at Forte Belanger since December 2020. Kate also worked as an Associate Director of Sales at Forte Belanger from June 2019 onwards.

Before joining Forte Belanger, Kate worked at Continental: Dining • Refreshment Services • Events as the Director of Sales starting in March 2017. In this role, they led the sales teams at exclusive event venues in Detroit.

From March 2013 to March 2017, Kate worked as an Account Manager at Forte Belanger. Kate was responsible for managing clients' expectations and serving as a liaison between clients and the production, operations, and execution teams.

Prior to their time at Forte Belanger, Kate worked at Design Cuisine as a Sales Associate from August 2010 to February 2013. Here, they focused on providing custom-designed menus, estimates, and décor for corporate events.

Kate also has experience working at The Fairlane Club as a Special Events/Catering and Marketing Assistant from February 2009 to November 2009. In this role, they assisted with special events, weddings, banquets, and membership recruitment.

Kate'scareer in the events industry started with an internship as a Special Events Intern at The Parade Company from May 2008 to December 2008.

Kate Berris obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Commercial Recreation Management from Central Michigan University from 2004 to 2008.
