Maria Cantu-Cooper

Maria Cantu-Cooper has a diverse work experience in the field of medicine. Maria is currently working as the Center Medical Director at Conviva Care Center starting from December 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant Professor at UT Health San Antonio from August 2018 to November 2022. Maria also gained expertise as a Geriatrics and Palliative Care Fellow at The Mount Sinai Hospital from July 2016 to June 2018. Maria was an Associate Member at the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Maria had an Internal Medicine Resident role at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2013 to 2016.

Maria Cantu-Cooper pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General at The University of Texas-Pan American from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they enrolled at Baylor College of Medicine from 2009 to 2013 to obtain their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in the field of Medicine.
