Michael K. Yu

Michael Yu is an Aeromechanicist at Continuum Dynamics Inc, specializing in rotorcraft aerodynamics/dynamics analysis, CSD-CFD coupled solution, rotor wake simulation tool development, and rotorcraft performance analysis. Michael is also a Senior Member at AIAA, elected member of the Modeling & Simulation Technical Committee, and a Member at AHS, serving as the Chair of the Advanced Vertical Flight Technical Committee. Michael's previous experience includes being a Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis where Michael worked on State-Space Rotor Flow Field Modeling. Michael holds a Doctor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
