Mike Roelens

Mike Roelens is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and architecting software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Contra since June 2021, Mike previously held positions at Cover as a Server Systems Architect and Technical Lead, where microservices were architected and built using Go. Additional notable roles include Lead Developer at Crescendo, where an interactive Slack bot was developed, and Co-Founder of ScholarTree, which achieved significant user engagement and was built with modern web technologies. Early career experiences include software development at Razorfish, where REST APIs and mobile applications for Walmart were created, and various co-op and junior roles that established a solid foundation in programming and application development. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Software Engineering Specialization from the University of Windsor.
