Steve Kao

Steve Kao has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Steve most recently served as the Chief Information Officer at Contract Services since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California starting in December 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of VP of Information Technology at Solaris Paper, Inc. Steve also has experience in teaching as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Redlands from 2017 to 2020. Steve has held leadership positions at companies such as Loot Crate, Fox Sports Digital, Red Bull, and Fox Networks Group. Steve began their career as a Senior Technology Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and also worked as a Senior Software Consultant at Parasoft Corp.

Steve Kao holds an MBA degree from the USC Marshall School of Business, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. In 1999, they completed their Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon in April 2017, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in November 2010, and PMP from the Project Management Institute in January 2010.
