Pieter Claerhout

Pieter Claerhout has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pieter is currently serving as the CTO and Senior Backend Engineer at Contractify, a SaaS scale-up specializing in contract management software and services. Pieter's role involves centralizing contracts, automating contract follow-up tasks, and facilitating secure and fast document approval and signing. Pieter is also responsible for reporting on custom contract data and provides full contract management support.

Prior to their current role, Pieter was the Owner of Jono Fotografie since 2014. Before that, they worked as the CTO at Twixl media for ten years, where they led the product and development team and ensured the technical quality of the software and solutions.

Pieter Claerhout was also a Core Contributor at Baker Framework from 2014 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Developer at SHpartners and RovingBird from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, Pieter worked as a Project Leader at De Persgroep in 2007, where they were responsible for the image workflow using Quark's Digital Asset Management system. Pieter'searliest work experience includes serving as the Product Support Manager Workflow at Eastman Kodak Company from 1999 to 2007, where they managed support activities for the "Prinergy" workflow product in Europe.

Pieter Claerhout began their education in 1993 at Sint-Andreas Instituut Brugge, where they studied Economie-Wiskunde until 1995. Following this, they attended Arteveldehogeschool from 1995 to 1998, earning a Bachelor's degree in Grafische Bedrijven, optie Bedrijfsbeheer.

In addition to their formal education, Pieter Claerhout has obtained several certifications. In 2008, they became a FileMaker Pro 9 Certified Developer, followed by FileMaker Pro 10 Certified Developer in 2009 and FileMaker Pro 11 Certified Developer in 2010, all obtained from FileMaker Inc. In 2011, they achieved the Twixl Publisher Expert certification from Twixl media.
