Rich Gierth

Rich Gierth has extensive experience in the construction and architecture industries, with a focus on sustainability and specifications. Currently serving as a LEED Reviewer at ABS since February 2010, Rich evaluates LEED submittal packages for compliance with USGBC requirements. Previously, Rich held positions including Business Manager for the Waterproofing Division at Polycoat and National Specification Manager at Dayton Superior, where Rich established and developed the National Spec program while engaging with leading architectural firms across major markets. Additionally, Rich served as the Western Regional Sales Manager at Colbond, successfully doubling business in the top sales territory. Rich earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kent State University between 1971 and 1976.
