Robert McGrew

Robert McGrew has extensive experience in the IT industry, spanning over two decades. Robert began their career at Smart Technologies in 2001, where they worked as a Systems Engineer, providing computer network and business process consulting services to a variety of clients. Robert specialized in assisting with HIPAA compliance and network access security. In 2005, McGrew was promoted to IT Director at Smart Technologies, where they led a team of help desk staff and technicians, taking care of the company's network across multiple locations in North and Central Florida. Robert also performed internal business needs analysis and was responsible for configuring and maintaining computer network systems. In 2009, McGrew joined West Tennessee Family Solutions as IT Director. In this role, they managed all aspects of IT services for one of the top five non-profit organizations in the Memphis area. Robert handled an $8 million yearly budget, oversaw 250+ employees, and managed 30 locations. McGrew performed business needs analysis, developed and managed documentation of systems, and integrated or developed IT systems to align with the company's goals. After four years, McGrew moved on to SJA Solutions in 2013, where they initially served as a Network Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for the management and maintenance of clients' computer network systems and played a vital role in establishing specifications, evaluating network performance, and implementing upgrades and configurations. Later, McGrew took on the role of vCIO at SJA Solutions, helping organizations achieve success through business process innovation and management. In 2018, McGrew joined Control Solutions Inc., where they currently hold the position of Director of Technology.

Robert McGrew attended the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology. In addition, they received certifications in MCP from Microsoft in January 2001 and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in December 2000.
