Alexandre Desilets-Benoit

Alexandre Desilets-Benoit has held a variety of roles since 2005. Alexandre began their career as a Science and Math tutor at S.O.S. Studies Montr\u00e9al in 2005. In 2008, they began their studies at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, where they completed a Master's degree and a PhD in Experimental Solid State Physics. In 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the same university. From 2016 to 2017, they held the role of Entrepreneur in Residence at TandemLaunch Inc. and Science and Technical Officer and Data Scientist at Fit.jobs. In 2017, they became the CTO of Contxtful Inc., where they are responsible for providing data to make the best decisions about mobile ad campaigns without invading users' privacy.

Alexandre Desilets-Benoit completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Université de Montréal in 2008. Alexandre then went on to earn a Master's degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the same university in 2010. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Université de Montréal in 2014. Alexandre also attended Polytechnique Montréal, but did not receive a degree.
