Marcio Paiva

Marcio Paiva has a strong background in SAP, with experience spanning over two decades. Marcio currently holds the position of Global Head of SAP at ConvaTec, where they are responsible for all global SAP technologies. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Business Applications at FUTURE COMPTA and as the SAP Business Unit Manager at Compta. Marcio also worked at ALCOBRE - Condutores Eléctricos, S.A. as part of the Information Systems Department and at CARPAN - Cooperativa Abastecedora dos Retalhistas de Produtos Alimentares do Norte CRL as part of the Information Systems Department. Marcio began their career at CIFIAL - Fundição e Tecnologia S.A. as a coordinator in the Production Planning and Control Department. Throughout their career, Marcio has gained expertise in project management, implementation of SAP modules, and integration with various functional areas.

Marcio Paiva completed their education with a Graduation in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto in 2008. Prior to that, they had obtained a Graduation in Mathematics Applied to the Technology from the Universidade do Porto in 2004. Additionally, Marcio has obtained certifications in various subjects such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Six Sigma Foundations, Gain Experience with a System Conversion to SAP S/4HANA, and Facilitate Remote Collaboration Like a Pro.
