Vincent Tan

General Manager, South East Asia at ConveGenius

Vincent Tan has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Vincent has held the position of Member of Board and General Manager, South East Asia at ConveGenius since November 2014. In this role, they have contributed to bridging the learning gap in under-served communities through the use of technology and adaptive learning approaches. Prior to this, Vincent was a Member of the Board and Country Director at Simply Wrapps, a successful chain of salad-bar cafes in Singapore. Before their roles in the education and food industry, Vincent worked at Nokia Siemens Networks in various capacities. Vincent served as the Senior VP/Head of Transformation, Cluster Asia and Middle East, overseeing the implementation of global transformation programs and achieving financial results. Vincent also held the position of Senior VP/Head of Global Services, Middle East & Africa, where they managed a portfolio of clients and contributed to significant revenue growth. Additionally, they served as VP/Head of Services for Sub Region Asia North & Asia South, where they achieved economic scale and efficiency through operational streamlining and cost savings measures. Vincent also held leadership roles in Nokia Networks Indonesia and was responsible for delivering significant annual revenue.

Vincent's earlier work experience includes a role as Project Director at TransTel Engineering, where they provided turnkey project services and solutions for the oil and gas industry. Overall, Vincent Tan has demonstrated strong leadership capabilities, strategic planning, operational excellence, and a track record of driving business growth and transformation in various organizations.

Vincent Tan pursued their higher education at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 1993 to 1996. During this time, they successfully completed a Bachelor of Engineering with a 2.1 grade in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Subsequently, in 1997 to 1998, Vincent Tan enrolled at the Singapore Institute of Management and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
