Melanie Gillies

Melanie Gillies is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in event registration and management, currently serving at Convention Data Services since November 2021. Melanie's previous role as Registration Manager at the National Safety Council involved overseeing registration processes for major events, including the National Safety Council Congress & Expo, where responsibilities included designing layout plans, training staff, and coordinating with various stakeholders. A versatile professional, Melanie also has a background in technical direction and stage management from positions at Glenbard East High School and Fox Valley Repertory. Holding dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre/Theater and Radio/Television Broadcast from Lewis University, Melanie has demonstrated strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills throughout a diverse career.
