Bonnie Oliva-Porter

Bonnie Oliva-Porter is a human capital strategist dedicated to building high-performing organizations that serve, advocate for, and build equity for underserved communities. Bonnie has over 15 years of experience across multiple industries, from tech and VC to non-profit and government. Previously, she was a founding team member at Tala, a mobile technology and data science company providing financial products and services in emerging markets. There, she developed much of the company’s People/DEI strategy and Operations processes as the company grew to 600+ employees across the globe. Bonnie is a member of the LA Steering Committee for All Raise, an organization working to increase the number of womxn founders and funders in tech and VC. She holds a MPA from NYU and a BA from Wesleyan University. Bonnie is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
