Nik Savchenko

Nik Savchenko has worked in the security and IT space for over 20 years. In 2018, they joined Convergent Risks as Vice President International, where they lead an international security team delivering global assessments, provides deep knowledge of content security management frameworks, physical controls and technology, delivers consultancy services, and develops and implements a cloud security assessment program. From 2013 to 2018, they were Senior Manager, Studio Content Protection (EMEA) at The Walt Disney Studios. Prior to this, they worked for HM Forces as Foreman of Signals, where they were responsible for managing the Military Network Operating Centre for the 2012 Olympics, IT audit matters, and providing expert advice and recommendations to senior management.

Nik Savchenko completed their Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Telecommunications and Systems Engineering from Bournemouth University in 2010. Subsequently, Nik obtained certifications in ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and ISO 27001 Lead Implementor in 2012, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) in 2021, Trusted Partner Network Qualified Assessor in 2018, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in 2020, AWS Certified Security – Specialty in 2021, and CISSP in 2012. In May 2022, Nik obtained a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge v.4 from the Cloud Security Alliance.
