Joshua Duncan

Senior Principal Engineer- HPC Group at Convergent Science

Joshua Duncan has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Joshua started their career as an Intern at Reactor Engineering International in 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they developed an Eulerian-Eulerian model and implemented a CFD solver. In 2018, they joined Convergent Science as a Research Engineer in the HPC Group, where they played a critical role in upgrading CONVERGE. Joshua later became a Senior Research Engineer and developed a generic framework for set properties and rebuilt CONVERGE's sealing feature. Currently, they are working as a Principal Engineer in the HPC Group at Convergent Science, where they are extending and enhancing an intersection handling feature and developing a new data management framework.

Joshua Duncan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemical Engineering from 2012 to 2017.
