Courtney LeBauer is an accomplished violinist and educator with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Currently, Courtney serves as Assistant Professor of Violin and Viola at Converse University since August 2019, where responsibilities include instructing students in violin, viola, and chamber music, as well as engaging with the orchestra. Additionally, Courtney performs as a member of The Converse Trio and participates in various orchestras, ensembles, and recitals. Since December 2004, Courtney has also been a violin teacher at Clara-Schumann-Musikschule Düsseldorf. Previous academic roles include a position as Visiting Professor of Violin and Chamber Music at Arizona State University from August 2003 to June 2004. Courtney's educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in Violin Performance from the University of Michigan and Rice University, respectively.
