Osman Rashid has an extensive work experience, beginning in 1995 when they took on the role of VP of Marketing at ATIO Corp. In 1997, they became VP of Business Development at the same company. In 2000, they co-founded Gravitywell, Inc. and served as its CEO. From 2001 to 2005, they were Director of Strategic Sales and Business Development at Chordiant Software, Inc. In 2005, they co-founded Chegg Inc. and served as its Chairman and CEO. In 2009, they co-founded Kno, Inc., a digital learning platform, and served as its CEO until it was acquired by Intel in 2013. In 2013, they founded Galxyz, Inc. and took on the role of Chairman. That same year, they also became a Member of the Board of Trustees at ChildLife Foundation. Finally, in 2019, they founded and became CEO of SOAR STEM Schools System.
Osman Rashid attended the University of Minnesota from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
