Christopher Muoio

Christopher Muoio has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Christopher is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Convoke since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Harris Corporation from December 2019 to March 2022, where they served as a Senior Specialist Software Engineering. In this role, they were a senior software developer on the "Hydra" platform and led two projects utilizing AI/ML for image processing and recognition. Christopher also led the application customization team consisting of ten developers.

Before joining Harris Corporation, Christopher worked at Codeworthy LLC as a Software Consultant and Managing Partner for ten years, from January 2009 to December 2019. Additionally, they worked at Paychex as a Software Consultant from January 2009 to September 2019. At Paychex, they worked on the main payroll system, designing and developing services for an online reporting application and being a key member of a Tech Team responsible for cross-platform changes.

Earlier in their career, Christopher worked at Blue Tie as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect from January 2008 to April 2009, where they created an AJAX framework for web UIs and developed backend data retrieval and build/deploy frameworks. Christopher also had a previous stint at Paychex as a Software Consultant from March 2005 to January 2008, where they contributed as a developer/designer on the main payroll system and led the development of the reporting framework.

Christopher began their career at D.O. Tech/Direct Thought as a Software Consultant from an unspecified date in 2000 to January 2008, where they had similar responsibilities to their role at Paychex. Christopher also previously worked at Danka Office Imaging as a Software Engineer from May 1999 to July 2000, where they designed and developed a web application for tracking mail and created a Palm OS program for package scanning and signature capture.

Christopher Muoio attended SUNY Brockport from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Christopher Muoio has obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they received the Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional certification from Automation Anywhere. Christopher also obtained the Google Analytics certification from Google in the same month. In February 2016, Christopher Muoio completed the M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers certification offered by MongoDB, Inc. Furthermore, in August 2015, they obtained the Java SE 8 MOOC: Lambdas and Streams certification from Oracle.
