Moustafa Meki

Moustafa Meki is a Research and Development Engineer at Cook Research Incorporated since October 2022. Prior to this role, Moustafa served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the FDA from November 2021 to October 2022 and conducted research as a Research Assistant at the University of Louisville from January 2017 to November 2021, focusing on Mechanical Circulatory Support, modeling and simulation of the cardiovascular system, and developing control algorithms for Ventricular Assist Devices. Moustafa earned a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Louisville in December 2021 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Alexandria University, completed in 2014.
