Suzy Dotson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Suzy began their career as a Director of Employee Relations and Development at Tele-Communications Inc (TCI) in 1980, where they managed various HR functions and oversaw the training and development of employees. Suzy worked in this role until 1999 when they decided to retire early and pursue other interests. During this time, they performed in community theatre and taught at local community colleges.
However, they missed working and it led their to purchase a Curves franchise in 2004, which they successfully operated and grew in Manhattan, Kansas. Suzy sold the business in 2007 and relocated to Texas.
After that, Suzy joined Story Time Theater as an Actor from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they worked at Cooper Aerobics Craig Ranch as a Director of Human Resources from 2013 to 2017.
From 2017 to 2022, Suzy worked at Cooper Aerobics, where they held multiple roles, including Human Resource Manager, Director of Employee Relation and Development, Director, and finally, Vice President/Senior Director of Human Resources.
Currently, Suzy is self-employed as a Retired HR Executive.
Suzy Dotson holds a Masters in Human Resources from Chapman University, which they obtained between the years 1992 and 1994. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Regis University, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Suzy has also obtained several certifications, including "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," "Coaching and Developing Employees," and "Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership" from LinkedIn. It should be noted that the institution from which they obtained their Masters of Human Resources certification is unknown, as well as the specific month and year of its attainment.
