Craig Smith

Craig Smith has a strong background in mechanical engineering and product development. Craig currently holds the position of Chief Mechanical Engineer, Connected Buildings at Cooper Lighting Solutions, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Development Specialist at the same company since February 2013.

Before joining Cooper Lighting Solutions, Craig worked at Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation for over 12 years. Craig held the positions of Unit Manager and Senior Project Engineer, where they led various projects in the development of ATV and UTV vehicles. Craig played a key role in designing popular models such as the Rhino UTV, Wolverine 450, and Bruin 350, and even obtained associated patents.
