Dashant Patel is a seasoned professional in IoT solutions architecture and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Director of IoT Solutions Architecture & Cyber Security at Cooper Lighting Solutions since March 2020. Prior experience includes holding the position of Principal Cyber Security Architect for IoT Solutions at Eaton - Lighting for a brief period, and serving as Distinguished Principal Engineer at Technicolor from November 2015 to October 2019, where Dashant directed product and security architecture for the North American Business Unit. Earlier in the career, Dashant contributed significantly as a Principal Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc., and Scientific-Atlanta, playing pivotal roles in managing projects related to analog scramblers and digital set-top devices for international markets.
