Riaz Mohammed

Riaz Mohammed has over two decades of experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Director of Advanced Process Engineering at Cooper Standard since June 2000. Riaz has successfully led the global industrialization of the patented Fortrex material platform, developing over 20 manufacturing standards and overseeing training across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Previous roles include Senior Product Manager, where Riaz managed a $130M portfolio of Ford AVS products, achieving significant program launch successes and margin improvements. Riaz's engineering expertise extends back to a foundational role at Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd as an Engineering Trainee after completing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron and a Bachelor's degree from Osmania University.
