Steve Frederiksen

Steve Frederiksen is an experienced Senior Engineering Manager at Cooper Standard since March 2011, leading global core engineering efforts on quick-connector projects, including the Gen III Posi-lock and Single-push-to-lock connectors, while also serving as the North America Lead for plastic component design. Prior to this role, Steve worked as a Senior Program Engineer at Cooper Standard, focusing on fluid transfer assemblies for powertrain heating, cooling, and battery cooling. From March 2007 to March 2011, Steve served as a Senior Design Engineer and Resident Engineer at Denso International America, responsible for the powertrain cooling design of OEM truck platforms. Steve's earlier career involved various roles such as Design Engineer and Sr Product Designer from April 1999 to March 2007, where contributions included the development of automotive interior components and the patented OEM Global Radio Connector. Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in Product Design Engineering from Ferris State University.
