Jessica Magis

Jessica Magis has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Jessica started their career as a Senior Staff member at Reign Ministries in 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Target as a Human Resources Executive Team Leader, where they managed HR strategies at two locations and built a motivated team. In 2017, they joined Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, starting as an HR Field Generalist and eventually progressing to Senior Human Resources Manager and then Human Resources Director. In their roles at Cooper's Hawk, they supported HR strategies, built positive relationships with operations leaders, ensured legal compliance, promoted team member engagement, and provided coaching and counseling on employee relations concerns.

Jessica Magis attended Illinois State University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Sociology. In 2020, they received the SHRM-CP certification from the SHRM institution.
