Dennis Cary has over 29 years of work experience, with a focus on the airline industry. Dennis began their career at American Airlines in 1991, where they held various positions in pricing, revenue management, and alliances until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they served as the Managing Director of Sales & Marketing - Europe and later as the President of AAdvantage. In 2004, Cary joined United Airlines as the Vice President of Revenue Management, and later became the Chief Marketing & Customer Officer. Dennis held this position until 2009. After leaving United Airlines, Cary worked as a Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Bally Total Fitness from 2010 to 2012. Dennis then served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in 2012. Cary continued their career as a Management Consultant and Interim Executive from 2012 to 2014, before joining ICF International as the Global Managing Director of the Airline Practice. Since 2015, they have been with Copa Airlines, where they hold the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
Dennis Cary completed their B.S. in Computer Science with summa cum laude honors from California State University, Northridge in the years 1982-1987. Following this, they pursued an MBA at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 1989-1991.
