Eduardo Peña

Eduardo P. has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Eduardo started their career at Synstar Computer Services, S.L. as a Junior Technician, providing technical support to both VIP and non-VIP users, as well as managing printers and backup tapes. Eduardo then worked at Reycom as a Senior Systems Technician for over two years. Moving on, Eduardo joined DISEPROSA, where they held the position of HelpDesk and IT Manager. Their responsibilities included managing IT and communications systems, supervising a team of two, and implementing various infrastructure and clustering solutions. After that, Eduardo worked at ThinkSmart, S.A. as an SPI + ITC Infrastructure Administrator and Appraiser, where they were responsible for appraising and managing server and network systems, implementing virtual environments, and ensuring network security. Eduardo then joined AgioGlobal Working Together, where they worked as a Virtualization and Storage specialist, serving clients such as Solium, BBVA, and Accenture. Their tasks involved system administration, virtualization, and storage management using technologies like XenServer, VMware, NetApp, and PureStorage. Currently, Eduardo works at Accenture España as a Cloud Transformation and Architecture Senior Analyst. Their roles include migrating infrastructure to GCP, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform, and managing various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Eduardo is also proficient in tools like AzureDevOps, Jenkins, GIT, and GITLAB.

Eduardo P. has a diverse education history in the field of technology. In 1999-2001, they attended Academia concertada Cenec, where they obtained a degree in FP2 DAI, focusing on programming and systems. In 2008-2009, they received training in Linux administration from CICE. In 2009-2010, they obtained the MCITP Server certification from CETICSA, specializing in systems.

Moving forward, Eduardo pursued a Master's degree in IT Security Auditing at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2012 to 2013. Eduardo then attended Universidad Europea de Madrid starting in 2013, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

Eduardo also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they received the VSP - MO (Management Operations 5) certification from VMware. In 2017, they obtained the VMware Certified Associate 6 - Cloud Management and Automation certification from Pearson VUE and the Red Hat Cloud Forms 4 certification from Red Hat. Finally, in 2019, Eduardo obtained the ITIL 4 Foundation CPD certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.

In recent years, Eduardo has focused on cloud computing. In 2016, they completed the OpenStack Foundations course at HPE Education. In 2019, they attended courses on Azure Administrator Associate at Microsoft and ITIL v4 Foundation at Global Knowledge Netherlands. In 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from AWS. In 2022-2023, they attended the VMware IT Academy to become a VMware CloudHealth Platform Administrator - Associate (AWS). Eduardo also pursued the Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Coursera during the same time period.

Additionally, Eduardo achieved the VMware VSP 5 and VTSP 5 certifications in 2013. In 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lastly, in 2004, they earned the Microsoft TS Certified Specialist Network Environment certification from VUE Software.
