Oleksandr Melnyk

Oleksandr Melnyk has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Deputy Head of Department in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine from November 2007 to December 2012. Oleksandr then held the position of Head of the Economics Department in the same ministry from December 2012 to February 2015.

From February 2015 to January 2017, Melnyk worked as a Project Manager at DIGITAL PRODUCTION AGENCY. Oleksandr then moved on to Wise Engineering, where they worked as a Product Owner / Product Manager from February 2017 to July 2018, gaining startup experience from idea to launch and sales. Their responsibilities included creating idea concepts, concept validation, managing teams and budgets, mitigating risks, resolving conflicts, and defining go-to-market strategies.

In 2018, Melnyk joined Avenga Ukraine (former Core Value) as a Product Manager, where they worked until April 2019. Subsequently, they became a Board Member at United Software from April 2019 onwards.

In June 2019, Melnyk co-founded Emerging Future Technologies and remained involved in the company without any specified end date.

Their most recent position is with CopeCart, where they started working as a Leading Product Manager in April 2019 and eventually became the Head of Product Development Department at CopeCart GmbH in September 2021. The end dates for their roles at CopeCart and Emerging Future Technologies are not provided.

Oleksandr Melnyk completed their Master's degree in Jurisprudence at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv from 2003 to 2009. In 2015, they received a certificate in Project Management from the Federal Ministry of economy of Germany. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they also obtained a Master's degree in International Economics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Additionally, Oleksandr has obtained several certifications, including BPMN for business analysts from Udemy in April 2023, Business Analyst Certification from SoftServe in October 2017, Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in October 2017, and a Product manager certification from McKinsey & Company in July 2016.
