Tomas Manzano

Tomas Manzano has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Tomas started their career as the Gerente de Processos e Analises Financeiras at Claro Brasil from 2000 to 2003. Tomas then joined Citrosuco, where they served as the Gerente Corporativo de Planejamento Economico e Financeiro (FP&A) for almost a decade, managing economic and financial planning processes, strategy, and competitive intelligence. In 2014, they became a Member of the Conselho Fiscal at Logum Logistica S.A. In 2018, they joined Opla Logistica Avançada as the Presidente do conselho de financas, riscos e controles and also served as a Member of the conselho de administração. Tomas held this position until 2023. In 2019, Tomas Manzano became a Membro do conselho de administração at Alvean and a Membro do conselho de administração at Logum Logistica S.A. Tomas also served as the Diretor de finanças, estratégia, participações e relação com acionistas (CFO) at Copersucar S/A from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Tomas Manzano is the CEO of Copersucar S/A starting in 2022. Tomas is also a Membro do comitê financeiro at Logum Logistica S.A., a Membro do conselho deliberarivo at UNICA - União da Indústria de Cana-de-Açúcar, and a Membro nã executivo do conselho de administração at Eco-Energy LLC. Additionally, they serve as the Presidente do conselho de administração at Eco-Energy LLC and a Membro do Comite de Riscos at Alvean. Furthermore, Tomas Manzano is a Membro do conselho administrativo at Evolua Etanol starting in 2022.

Tomas Manzano attended several educational institutions throughout their career. In 1994, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. Following that, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Finance at FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued an MBA in Accounting, Auditing, and Tax Planning at the School of Economics, Business, and Accounting at the University of São Paulo. Lastly, in 2017, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for The Emerging CFO: Strategic Financial Leadership Program in Business Administration.
