Rick Hollowell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rick started their career as a Production Test Technician at MACOM, where they tested and troubleshooted microwave modules and sub-assemblies. Rick then joined Microwave Radio Communications as the Director of Broadcast Products, managing product management and the $35M broadcast microwave radio product line.
After that, Rick worked at Radio Waves as a Channel Sales Manager and Product Manager, where they increased sales of wireless antenna products through a network of representatives and distributors. Rick also successfully negotiated and signed a national distributor, significantly growing their business.
Following this, Rick served as the Antenna Sales Manager at Cobham Defense Electronic Systems, responsible for selling antenna systems to military, prime contractors, and OEM customers. Rick collaborated with the Advanced Technology Group to drive new business opportunities and directed a network of manufacturer's sales representatives.
Rick then joined Vislink (Microwave Radio Communications) Inc as the Director of Presales Engineering, leading a global team of Systems Engineers and providing microwave system designs and proposals. Rick developed new business, improved book-to-bill cycle through the implementation of new processes, and offered technical expertise through pre-sales support.
Afterwards, Rick worked as the Sales Manager at ThingMagic, A Division of Trimble, where they managed existing accounts, developed new prospects, and increased sales of RFID solutions with a focus on healthcare and reseller markets. Rick also secured design wins and nurtured new OEM accounts.
Rick then joined Continental Resources as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager, overseeing the Test & Measurement equipment sales and rentals business for the eastern USA. Rick directed a team of inside sales managers and outside account managers.
Currently, Rick is working at Copper Mountain Technologies as the Director of Sales, U.S. & Canada. Rick is responsible for growing sales of the company's product portfolio throughout the USA.
Rick Hollowell completed a Management certificate program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Rick also studied Digital Communications and Business Administration at Northeastern University. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Communications Electronics from GTE Sylvania Technical School in 1978.
