Business Development Manager (SEU Region)  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

As Business Development Manager, you will report to the Regional Director, SEMEA, and cover the following areas:  

Sales 

  • Assist the Sales Team by:  
  • Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers 
  • Finding the appropriate person to speak to within large prospect accounts  
  • Setting up meetings for AEs with key prospects 
  • Checking the network for tenders (RFI or RFP) that may be of interest  

 

New Market Development  

  • Assist the Sales Team by:  
  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets 
  • Seeking out the appropriate contact in an organisation, setting up meetings, and following up  

 

Events Sales Management 

  • Assist the Sales and Marketing Teams by: 
  • Qualifying leads acquired through events, campaigns, and other activities  
  • Inviting key prospects to upcoming roundtable discussions, webinars, and events  
  • Inviting key prospects to speak at panels and forums hosted by Copperleaf  
  • Gathering event feedback to impact future agendas  

 

About You: 

  • You naturally connect with people and make friends wherever you go  
  • You are results-driven and enjoy cold calling 
  • You have experience and are comfortable positioning technical software solutions to C level executives   
  • You know how to navigate complex organizations and have experience with complex software sales, solution selling and value-based selling  
  • You can uncover new business opportunities within the account through desktop research and cold calling  
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced Sales environment using tools such as Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Marketo 
  • Are self-motivated, flexible, pragmatic, proactive and open to taking on a variety of tasks 
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, respect, courtesy and discretion 
  • You will need business fluency in French, English, and either Spanish, Portuguese or Italian.
