Shane Russell

Shane Russell is a software engineer who currently works at CoProcure. Shane has also worked at One Medical as a senior software engineer from November 2019 to September 2022. Prior to that, they were with United States Digital Service from January 2016 to May 2019 where they served as an engineering team lead.

Shane has been instrumental in the development and launch of the first two features of Caseflow as part of a three engineer landing team. Shane has also conducted the first ever coding exercise used at the VA to evaluate contractors for procuring an agile technology contract. Shane led the initial engineering team as a "tech lead who codes", forming culture and practices as the team rapidly scaled from 4 to 15 members from 3 different contracting companies. Shane also guided automated testing, CI pipeline tooling, and AWS deployment strategy.

Shane Russell has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Alabama. Shane is certified in Data Analysis from Coursera and Computing for Data Analysis from Coursera.
