Mike Spangler

Mike Spangler has over 10 years of professional work experience. In 2010, they served as an Assistant to Mitchell Hurwitz at Tiny Horse. In 2011, they were a Production Assistant at HBO, where they supported executive producers and managed office services. In 2012, they worked as a Development Intern at Carbon War Room and a Locations Coordinator at Warner Bros. Television. In 2013, they were a Producer/Production Manager at The Bindery. In 2014, they were a Ruby Developer at The Flatiron School, where they built and shipped Learn.co. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they led the re-write of spacecraft testing software. In 2018, they were an Engineering Team Lead at Wheels, where they achieved 200x scale in the first two years with minimal downtime. In 2021, they were the Head Of Engineering at Frame. Mike is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Copy.ai.

Mike Spangler attended Loyola Marymount University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). In 2012, they attended Baruch College and studied Physics and Ecology. In 2013, they attended the Flatiron School and obtained a Web Development Immersive degree. In 2017, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
