Balazs Zagyvai

Balazs Zagyvai has a wealth of experience in software engineering. Balazs began their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer for SAP Technology, where they developed the open-source Eclipse Memory Analyzer Tool. In 2008, they moved to Morgan Stanley as a Software Developer. In 2009, they became a Software Engineer for Newbay Software. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Independent Contractor. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Lead Software Engineer for moresosphy GmbH, where they developed software for natural language processing, implemented full text search solutions, and worked on configuration management, virtualization/containerization, and deployment automation. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Data Engineer for Avira, where they worked on data integration projects and company-internal tooling used by the data engineering team. Balazs currently holds the role of Software Engineer for both Ziverge and Coralogix.

Balazs Zagyvai has a background in Software Engineering. Balazs completed their Erasmus scolarship at Delft University of Technology in 2005 and obtained an Excellent degree from Budapest University of Technology and Economics between 2000 and 2005. In 2009, they were certified as a Spring Professional by SpringSource. Balazs was certified as a Scrum Master by the Scrum Alliance in 2010. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera. In 2019, they obtained certifications in Functional Program Design in Scala and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera, as well as a 14k+ reputation from Stack Overflow.
