Shameek Ghose

Shameek Ghose has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property law, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry. Shameek is currently serving as the Vice President of Intellectual Property at Corcept Therapeutics since April 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Patent Counsel and Head of US Pharma Trademarks & Copyrights at Genentech from January 2013 to April 2021. Before joining Genentech, they worked as a Senior Patent Attorney at Human Genome Sciences from December 2010 to January 2013. Shameek also has experience as an Attorney at Bingham McCutchen from March 2008 to December 2010, at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox from February 2006 to March 2008, and at Kinney & Lange, P.A. from August 2003 to February 2006.

Shameek Ghose completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Indiana University Bloomington from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree at The Johns Hopkins University from 1997 to 2000. Finally, Shameek Ghose attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
